Wicker has long been a household name in the Exotan collection. It is a strong material which is low maintenance. Below you can read how you can best maintain wicker.

High-quality wicker

Wicker is a fibre that is made from plastic. These fibres are woven into a strong and sturdy material. In the Exotan collection this high quality wickerwork is often woven around a frame of aluminium, steel or teak.

The high quality wicker makes a set low maintenance. Stains can occur during the season due to different weather conditions. The advice is to remove these stains immediately. This can be done easily with warm water and soap. Stubborn stains can be removed with Exotan Care® Textilene & Wicker cleaner (ECP500). We recommend protecting the elements with Exotan Care® Textilene & Wicker protector (ECP700) after cleaning. This provides an extra UV filter and slows down the adhesion of dirt.

For an optimal result, you can use the Exotan Care® scrub pad (ECP450-P) for cleaning and the Exotan Care® application cloth (ECP456) for applying a protective layer.
